Northwestern’s Clayton Johnson won medalist honors at the North Central University Invitational on Friday, shooting a three-over par 75 on an ugly weather day at Mississippi Dunes Golf Club. Johnson bested the field of 25 golfers on the day while NWC finished with a team score of 346.

The Northwestern men's golf team kicked off its 2010 season on Wednesday with a dual match versus Macalester College. The Scots were victorious in the match, winning by a score of 310-331 at Hillcrest Country Club.

Eagles lose dual match to Crown

Northwestern was on the short side of a dual match with Crown College on Saturday, as the Storm won by 38 strokes at Island View Golf Club. The Eagles, in their second meet of the spring part of the 2009-10 season, shot a team score of 359.
